Mr Bean – A Wonderful Cartoon Series

Mister. Bean, developed by Rowan Atkinson at University established on the smoothness defined as “a child in a grown man’s body”. The series followed the exploits of Mr. Veggie in solving the various problems presented by every day tasks. kimcartoon

Mr. Veggie, during its five years run gained large UK audience figures including 18. 74 million for the 1992 episode “The Difficulties with Mr. Bean”. The series has been the recipient of several international awards including Rose d’Or. The show has recently been sold in 200 areas worldwide and has encouraged two feature films and an animated cartoon spin-off. 

It character, played by Rowan Atkinson, is a slow-witted, some times innovative, selfish and generally nice buffoon who brings uncommon schemes and connivances to everyday tasks. He lives alone in a tiny smooth in Highbury, North Birmingham. He rarely speaks, and when he does, it is generally only few mumbled words which are in a comically low-pitched voice. Mr. Bean seems unaware of basic aspects of the way the world works. Humor typically comes from his original solutions to problems fantastic total disregard for others while solving them.

Mister. Bean’s teddy bear is his closest friend. Though Teddy is inanimate, this individual often pretends it is alive. Over the years Teddy has undergone many changes. When it first showed on “The Trouble with Mr. Bean” it acquired a smaller head, but later its head contacted its current size and eyes has been replace by two small white buttons giving it a distinct image.

Mr. Bean’s car has developed a personality of sorts. The mini was central to many antics, Such as Mr. Bean getting outfitted in it or trying to avoid parking garage cost by driving out through the entrance.

Mr. Bean’s girl friend Irma Gobb, Matilda Ziegler, appeared in range of episodes. She is treated relatively inconsiderately by Bean, who appears to regard her more as a friend and associate than a love interest.

Mr. Bean features a choral theme tune written by Howard Goodall and performed by the charger of Southwark Cathedral. The words sung during the title sequences are in Latin.

Mr. Bean series won several awards from the beginning itself. The first episode won the Golden Rose, as well as two other major prizes at the 1991 Rose d’Or Light entertainment festival in Montruex. In britain the episode “The Bane of Mr. Bean” was nominated for an amount of BAFTA awards, “Best Light Entertainment Programme” in 1991, Best Comedy in 1992, and Atkinson nominated three times for “Best Light Entertainment Performance” in 1991, 1992 and year 1994. “Mr. Bean” won the Norwegian comedy award “Tidleg Sadwagang”.

Mr. Bean has reached the grand retirement years of 20. He is one of the most treasured characters in TV SET History and true humourous legend, with a large following both in UK and all over the world. Over previous twenty years he has kept us constantly amused and in stitches.
